| The picture speaks for itself. If you are looking for a rugged, tough built female with power, this one has it. Her mother is a direct Tug Boat daughter purchased from Drake's Labor Day sale that has been a great generator. 2-3 is one you can put a franchise tag on as a foundation female and we should not be selling her. However, she is the dual-purpose kind that goes beyond producing competitive show pigs. The opportunites are endless with this one. |

One exciting Yorkshire barrow. He has been a standout since on the sow and still manages to get your attention. Very square and wide with a great center and depth of body. His hip and hind leg is near perfect and has a big foot underneath him. His daddy turned a lot of heads in Des Moines last June and we feel he could be a real player come WPX 2010. |

| No holes best describes this one. Square built with a big hip. You have to appreciate this guy on the move, he has an up-headed attitude with great design and he plants a big foot out on the corners where they belong. Not as shapely as some of his littermates but still three-dimensional. |

| Another female we are really excited about. Day after day, this one continues to impress us more. Like her littermate 2-3, she is extremely opened up from blade to hip with great rib shape. Big bone structure with flat joints. Maybe not as stout skulled as her sister but her advantage is that she is more extended in front of her blade. With time, she could very well prove to be the best in the litter. |

It is not every day that you find a barrow as intriguing as this one. He is one that is easy to find with his shapely top and cocky attitude. Everytime he profiles, he is picture perfect in his design. With his true power and added eye appeal, he's one I would prefer to drive with rather than against. |

| The only gilt to be offered out of the 1 litter and we wish we had 10 more just like her to offer. She does so many things right. The picture tells the story. Correct in her design, heavy structured and powerful. We really like how uniform bodied she is from fore-rib to flank, especially at 60 pounds. Her mother is a Bull Dozer x California Connection that has produced the lead off gilt in our annual sale 2 of the last 3 years, that averaged $2200. This female may be her best one yet. |

| A little change of scenery for those familiar with our operation. We have grown quite fond of the Chester breed and their ability to generate powerful, heavy structured market hogs. We feel 5-10 best describes why we chose to incorporate the breed. One of the most impressive Chester barrows we have seen at this age. Incredibly wide, square and deep with a monster set of feet. With his power and bone, he still has plenty of reach and flexibility. His sire is a Target 1-6 son shown by Robby Sheets at the '09 STC purchased by Armstrong Genetics. His dam was the 2008 Iowa State Fair Champion Chester Gilt. We have high hopes for this one. |

| This female gets us pretty fired up about the breed. So much emphasis has been put on bone and body, we have seen hogs get borderline too little. 6-3 is the kind that brings us back to the reality that heavy boned, powerful hogs can still have extension. If we were set on increasing our Chester sow numbers, this one would not be offered. Long bodied, level and square built. Go win a purebred gilt show then crate her and watch her generate. |

| Not much can be said about this guy that the picture doesn't describe. An absolute truck coming and going with a big top and hip. He may be one of the biggest footed hogs we have had the opportunity to merchandise. One to consider if you like to color purple. |

| Just as we described with 6-3, 5-3 is another Chester female that we have no business selling. However, this one has a chance to be really good. We love the width she has. She has the kind of dimension that is powerful and yet you would never question if she is a female. Her added flexibility makes her very versatile as both a show gilt and foundation female. |

| True power hog here. A standout every time we analyze him with his massive top and center body shape. He just looks like the kind that will feed with relative ease. What's most impressive is that he is extended enough to get to 280 and still look fresh and youthful. As the industry prepares take a step back in terms of moderation of frame, 5-8 may be one to have on feed. |

One of our favorite Yorkshire barrows in the offering. Near perfect in his design and bone structure. With the amount of length and extension he offers you would expect him to need more power. However, that is what makes him intriguing as he is as square underneath as any. Tons of potential with style to burn. |

| If you are looking for one that will require minimal maintenance, look no further. One glance at this guy and you will see he is production driven and reads to be extremely easy feeding. Sure, he may require a little fine tuning 30 days out, but until then, the only challenge he will present is if you can keep the feeder full enough. |

The term "female" best describes 5-4. At this point, she does not have the muscle pop that seems to catch the attention of most. However, don't turn your head too soon as she will start to grow on you. She is far above average in terms of width and body shape and like her littermates, she's very correct in her design. If you are the gambling kind, here is a sleeper in the sale that could prove to be a bargain. |

| The most terminally driven gilt in the five litter. A bit harder in her muscle shape and does not give you the soggy, brood sow look through her center body. This may be that she is by far the greenest gilt in the litter as well. Wtih more time on feed, she could be fun to drive in the market hog division. |

| It is very challenging to find the best words to describe this one. Certainly not the most photogenic, as he never seemed to want to strengthen his top. However, as you step away and begin to read him you will find the reason why. He is extremely loose spined and flexible. When on the move, he pulls himself together and never misses a step. If you like them moderate framed, wide skeletoned and soggy, he sure won't disappoint. |

| Another six litter barrow that is deep, wide and heavy structured. We absolutely love the body type this mating generated. It is not often you find prospect pigs with this type of soft, natural body. To be critical of this guy, he has exploded on a high-protein diet to the point where he tightened a little in his hock. Since then, he has been on a higher-fat ration and may continue to benefit from this to keep his joints lubricated. If you pride yourself on the ability to feed, don't let this one pass you by. |

| If we could have seen Tug Boat as a baby, we feel he would have looked very similar to 1-12. This guy is different. You will not find one in the barn that is as open from blade to hip as this one. Ultra deep bodied and mobile. Very rugged in his build which is not common talk amongst show barrows. He is the kind that you will look at and either fall in love with his kind or just turn your head. The decision is all yours. |

| It can sometimes be a challenge developing a sale order and determine which lot will close the sale. However, with one of the most consistent sets we have ever offered, we feel it really doesn't matter. 5-7 was an outlier in the litter with his added grow power, shapely top and powerful hip. If we could have put a more rugged bone structure underneath this guy, he would be our STC boar entry. Don't get us wrong, we feel he has plenty of foot size to be a competitive show barrow, but to be critical we would like to stouten his bone just a bit. As good as he is in other areas, it does not take long to overlook his bone and realize he is a very good kind. |
