Sired by the Calving Ease giant Dante 652D.  Without a doubt some of the best genetics in the Hereford breed are represented in 9617's pedigree, Leader, About Time and Dante on the top side.  Not to mention, arguably the best cow in the Hereford breed.   Sweet Red Wine has raised as many top Herd Bulls and High selling females as any cow there has been.  New Plymouth is very attractive in his head and neck blending very nicely into tight, smooth shoulders.  He is deep girthed, long spined with a long loin.

We call Colorado the maternal giant.  His Milk EPD places him in the top 10% of the breed and His Milk and Growth numbers places him in the top 15%.  This tells me that his daughters are going to milk and their offspring are going to grow with that milk available.  His dam is a very nice uddered cow that has been a cornerstone in our breeding herd.  6104 is moderate framed, thick made and straight in his lines.  He is wide enough in his back that you could land on plane on him.  Without a doubt the thickest bull in the Hereford pen.  Put him with some angus cows and smile all the way to town.  His steers are going to weigh up and his daughters are going to be the kind that will keep you in the cattle business for many years to come.  Remember your bull selection today will affect your bottom dollar for ten or more years down the road.

Selling 2/3 interest and full possesion.  We will keep 1/3 semen revenue interest.  New owner will have full possesion and full salvage value.  If semen collection is required in the future it will be done at the convenience of new owner.

Aces is a traditional Hereford looking bull that is 90.75% Hereford.  He is royally bred and has royal looks.  Evaluating his pedigree on the bottom side you find Red Hereford greats like Leader, Hometown and Tundra.  On top the Aces is sired by High Roller who is a son of Jo Bulls great 344 donor, which was raised by Ipsen Cattle.  Remember the great offering that came out of the National Sale from the 344 cow.  One of the best producing donor cows in the Black Hereford breed.  When evaluating Aces you start with a clean and tidy front 1/3, attractive head with tight shoulders set at a correct angle.  He is extremely big middled, with a wide back and good hooks to pins set.  He has a stout hind quarter with red meat in all the right places.  Aces truley is an outstanding Black Hereford bull that is going to be a shaker and mover in this breed.

We thought enough of this bull to use him as a clean up on our BH cows and young Red Hereford cows for one cycle after AI.  Full Power is aptly named.  He exhibits as much muscle and power in his rear quarter as any bull in the sale and possibly in the entire Black Hereford breed.  I love the extension he exhibits on both ends.  He has a very attractive front 1/3, tight shouldered, straight and long lines through his middle and thick and wide when looking over his top.  He moves like a cat and has great feet and legs.  He will, without reservation, sire some outstanding replacement females and steer mates that will have the buyers knocking at your door.

Grizzly is a very stout individual with lots to offer a progressive cattleman.  His About Time dam is about as complete of a Hereford cow as you can ask for.  She is broody, good uddered and has wheels that allows her to travel in some of our toughest rangeland.  975 is wide based, big topped, deep muscled with that extra LOOK that will catch your eye.  Sired by ICC BEAR 47C to bring maternal, growth and Carcass to the mix.  The Bear cattle are all known to be extremely docile and good doing type cattle.  I predict you will not appreciate Grizzly enough until you get his daughters into production.  I promise they will be outstanding.

Calving Ease, Top Pick, Excellent PAP score

Act. BW:  69,  Adj. 205 Wt./Ratio:  721/107,  Adj. 365 Wt./Ratio:  1337/109,  Yrlg. Scrotal:  39.5,                                    Yrlg. Frame:  6,  PAP:  37

We always seem to pick a favorite in each crop of bulls.  Many factors go into that selection, our own opinion, opinions of those that come look at them, their ease of being around them and so on.  Bendigo has become that bull.  Those that have been out to look at the bulls all agree this guy is pretty special.  He is the natural calf of our Donor 123B cow and has been a standout from birth.  He grabs your eye just as soon as you walk in the pen but stop and really evaluate him to really appreciate just how good this rascal is.  He has about the prettiest front end of any bull I have seen.  He is extended through his neck, which ties into a very neat and tidy set of shoulders that have the right amount of angle and are pulled in nice and neat.  His middle third is solid, it is deep in the heart, with plenty of boldness and capacity.  Looking over his top he is wide and flat with good width at his hips and flat back to his pins.  Finishing out down through his quarter he is muscular and has red meat in all the correct places.  When you look at him from the side he gives you the WOW factor.  Once you see the physical side of him study his performance and EPD's you see an individual that excels in Calving ease, Growth, Maternal and Carcass and all this is backed by his actual performance records.    Add to all this and Bendigo is one of the most docile bulls in the pen.  Something that Bear has put in all his offspring.  If you can't tell how well we like this guy come by and see what you think about bendigo.

9514 is a well balanced Bear son that is big middled, long Spined and thick made through out his whole body.  He is double digit CED but we feel his use on heifers should be supervised and on larger frame females.  He is at the top of the breed for Growth EPD's and his actual performance backs those numbers up.  A bull that is big boned and burley made.  Lots of WOW when looking at him and coming from a very good Black Granite daughter we expect big things from this bull.

One of the younger bulls in the pen but by far one of the growthier bulls.  He was raised on a good Charlo 3212 two year old cow that is one of our best.  Hot Toddy is wide and thick throughout with a wide top line and thick quartered.  He is moderate framed.  He is in the top 20% of the breed in 7 economically importatnt traits.  We recommend using him on heifers with supervision even though he is double digit CED and low BW EPD because he is a little bolder through his shoulders than most all night calving ease bulls.  Don't let that turn you off on this great prospect his calves will grow and grow fast.  His pedigree is loaded with superior cow power!

Act. BW:  83,  Adj. 205 Wt./Ratio:  593/88,  Adj. 365 Wt./ratio:  959/88,  Yrlg. Scrotal:  37.5,                            Yrlg. Frame:  5.1,  PAP 41

Griz has turned it on from when we took yearling weight.  He is long spined, deep bodied, with width at the ground.  Griz has a big foot and is strucuraly sound in his leg set.  He tracks very well and moves with ease off his hind leg.

This combination of Bear crossed on Bismark offers proven maternal, Growth and Carcass attributes.  His dam was a good uddered, heavy bodied cow that was a very easy keeper.  A trait that we sometimes over look.  You won't make a wrong choice with Griz.

Rio is a moderate framed Payweight son from our 123B donor dam.  (dam to lot 9).  979 is a tank!   He has a deep wide chest floor with lots of middle and volume.   979 is very wide in his back and level at his hips.  He has a good wide rear quarter and is set on very sound feet and legs.  Rio is a mover and will cover a lot of country during the breeding season.  He is very docile and I believe one that will make a great investment for his new owner.  Payweight sons have topped sales all across america and the females have made outstanding and productive cows.

Calving ease.  Great PAP score

 Act. BW: 68,  Adj. 205 Wt./Ratio:  681/101,  Adj. 365 Wt./Ratio:  1100/89,  Yrlg. Scrotal:  36.25,                        Yrlg. Frame:  5,  PAP:  38

A calving ease Payweight son that is double digit CED and negative BW.  He is lighter boned as most calving ease bulls are.  He is very neat and tidy with tight shoulders then moves into a extremely big middled bull with lots of capacity.  Cowboy Joe had a little tough spell right when we took yearling weights but has come out of it well and is making up some lost ground.  Highly maternal pedigree with EPD's to back this up.  He is in the top 1% of the breed for milk so keep an eye on his daughters for future replacements.

Dam has sons working for Rasmussen (ID), Kearl (UT) and Holsten (ID).

Calving ease Bravo son that is a maternal giant.  His Sire is the $900,000 Valued Coleman Bravo 6313.  Bravo, 9105's sire, is known world wide for his powers as a maternal bull.  We have added another dimension to the maternal aspect by bringing you a powerhouse bull that has as much thickness and dimension to his rear 1/3 of his body.  Not many Calving ease bulls are this thick and powerful in there makeup.  His dam, 105, is the Granddam to the good herd sire BEAR.  It won't be hard to find this guy as he stands out as a moderate meat wagon.

Baldridge Waylon

 Act. BW:  67,  Adj. 205 Wt./ratio:  641/95,  Adj. 365 Wt./Ratio:  1251/102,  Yrlg. Scrotal:  38.25,                      Yrlg. Frame:  5,  PAP:  44

Weber is an outstanding Connealy Guiness son that combines excellent growth and Carcass projections that will make him a great investment to the most astute cattleman.  9613 is free moving with a great stride and tracks perfectly.  He is moderate framed, big middled, wide flat top line and massive rear quarter.  His Maternal grandsire, Baldridge Waylon W34, is known industy wide for being a superior carcass sire.  His Pap score tells us he is safe to about 9500' elevation.  I predict this guy to be a sleeper so watch him sale day.  He is a good one.

Connealy Guiness

Growth bull, Great WW & YW EPD, Carcass and maternal,  top Claw and Angle scores

 Act. BW:  61,  Adj. 205 WT./Ratio:  581/NA,  Adj. 365 Wt./Ratio  1181/NA,  Yrlg. Scrotal:  36.5,                              Yrlg. Frame:  5,  PAP:  120

Wasatch is a unique individual.  We lost his mother to an unfortunate accident and Becky raised him on a bottle, therefore he wasn't ratio'd with the rest of the bulls.  He had such a good and balanced set of EPD's I had to keep him as a bull.  He has turned into an impressive individual.  Although he has a low actual BW I would still recommend to use him on cows only.  He has a great slope to his shoulders, big middled, thick quartered in a moderate package.  His Feet and legs are sound, of course he is docile and easy to be around.  Wasatch is a good all around bull.  His PAP score tells us he should run in lower elevations.

Dam has sons working for Arimo(ID), Larson(ID), Gilberts(ID), with 2 daughters retained in our herd.

Maternal grandsire

Growth bull, balanced EPD's, high Maternal and Carcass.

 Act. BW:  77,  Adj. 205 Wt./Ratio:  611/91,  Adj. 365 Wt./Ratio:  1107/90,  Yrlg Scrotal:  36,                               Yrlg. Frame:  6,  PAP:  46

Solid and balanced EPD's Altuve is a tic larger framed than his herd mates.  He is long as a well rope and deep throughout.  His Mother is one of our bigger cows and has a pedigree that is packed with SAV breeding.  There is muscle and power through out his pedigree.  He does have EPD's that should make him a heifer bull but I recommend him on cows only.  He will sire excellent replacement females with his milk EPD and the quality udders that are represented in his past.  He goes back to the very good 86T cow which I think represents the ideal Angus cow.  If your cows need a little stretch to get more weaning weight, Altuve is the bull to do it.

Dam has daughter at Gilies (ID) and 2 retained in our herd.

Cowboy Up 5405

Growth bull,  style and balance,  Good PAP score

 Act. BW:  61,  Adj. 205 Wt./Ratio:  510/ET,  Adj. 365 Wt./Ratio:  1035/ET,  Yrlg Scrotal:  34,                               Yrlg Frame:  5,  PAP:  39

Monte Walsh is sired by Cowboy Up 5405 who lite the Angus world on fire when he sold for $350,000 for 2/3 interest.  He has gone on to be a breed leader is registrations the last 3 years.  "The cowboy up sons display power, volume and extra muscle expression to be favorites of both purebred and commercial cattlemen."   Raised on a poor milking recip cow, Monte walsh has made up a lot of ground.  His Donor dam is our Powerful 83X donor cow that raised us some great bulls and prolific females.  She has all the power needed for a Donor dam and continues to produce quality individuals for Triangle T Cattle Co. in their donor program.

921 is a very active, moderate framed bull that is very attractive and balanced when you look at him.  He is straight in his lines both top and bottom.  Monte is very thick in his rear quarter and wide across the top of his hooks.  With a very long loin he impresses me with his muscular expression in the quality cuts area of his carcass.  We like his width in his chest and his ability to get out and move on solid feet and legs.

Growth bull,  Maternal,  Great PAP score

 Act. BW:  75,  Adj. 205 Wt./Ratio:  624/99,  Adj. 365 Wt./Ratio:  1038/95,  Yrlg. Scrotal:  35,  Yrlg.                         Frame:  5.2,  PAP:  38

Balanced, thick and stylish are the words that come to my mind when looking at 9602.  Being one of the youngest bulls in the offering he shows plenty of thickness, length of body and middle dimension.  His milk EPD is in the top 10% of the breed so use Tremonton to keep your mature cow weight down with good milking daughters.  Two of the best ways to bring profit into any cow herd.

Calving ease with supervision on larger heifers,  Highly maternal, Great PAP score

 Act. Bw:  69,  Adj. 205 Wt./Ratio:  601/95,  Adj. 365 Wt./Ratio:  1107/100,  Yrlg. Scrotal:  34,                           Yrlg. Frame:  5,  PAP:  32

Knowing the pedigree and background of 9600 I feel confident that you can use him on larger heifers with supervision.  Being a late October calf he did rather well.  This is a bull that will get better everyday you own him.  He has balance, thickness from end to end.  Very big footed and burely made Smithfield will sire high milking moderate framed females to be sought after replacements for years of profit for his new owner.

My partner in the Billy Ray bull has sold his heifers for a premium the last 2 years.  This is truly a maternal packed pedigree.
